Travel
The events on Saturday and Sunday are labelled on the map, as well as the Albuquerque International Sunport at the bottom.
We live in the blue circle, roughly in between the two places.
Hotels
In the gold circle above is Nob Hill, which is a nice neighborhood to stay in. For a locally-owned option we recommend Hotel Zazz but this is also a good place to find other kinds of vacation rentals. This area is the most walkable (by Albuquerque standards) and has restaurants and coffee shops.
The purple circle marks Uptown, a commercial neighborhood with lots of chain hotels at a range of price points. There are also many retail stores including several grocery options and a mall.
There are also lots of other good places to stay in the Huning-Highlands neighborhood which contains a historic hotel, Hotel Parq Central, and a very affordable motel that we’ve been told is reliable for a budget option, Super 8 by Wyndham.
Getting around
Albuquerque is a pretty car-centric city. There are the typical rideshare options which are reliable during normal daylight hours but less so during off hours. The best rental car options are at the airport. There is a bus system (with free fares!) but it’s not especially reliable or notoriously safe.
If you need help with getting around town, we can definitely add you into the carpool! Just contact Sylvia and/or Eli!
